First Step into the Kitchen Chocolate
This 4-week program, prepared by expert professional trainers, will teach you the most basic techniques related to chocolate, allowing you to correct common misconceptions. It is suitable for anyone interested in chocolate, those who want to take a break from their busy work schedule for a day with chocolate, participants from various educational and professional backgrounds, or industry professionals looking to improve their technical and practical skills. Topics covered in the program include; types and history of chocolate, tempering techniques with hand and state-of-the-art machines, mold, molding, ganache making techniques, coating chocolates, and various painting techniques. No prior industry experience is required for the training program, and it is also open to industry professionals.

Training Rules
- • The minimum age limit for all trainings is 18.
- • Name checks are conducted before the training starts.
- • At the beginning of the training, each participant receives the “USLA First Step into the Kitchen Training Textbook” and at the end of the training, a personalized “USLA First Step into the Kitchen Participation Certificate” is provided.
- • If you wish, you can bring your storage containers to share any excess dishes you prepare during the kitchen trainings with your loved ones.
- • There are no make-up classes; no one else can attend in your place.
- • Due to working with open flames in practical trainings, hair must be tied back; if a student is wearing a scarf, it should be tucked into their clothing, and long scarves, shawls, etc. should not be worn.
- • Jewelry, dangling bracelets, rings, etc. that pose a risk should be removed or not worn in the training area due to the conductivity of metals and the risk of getting caught in kitchen equipment.
- • Shoes with slippery soles or high heels should not be worn during training; preferably, non-slip shoes should be used.
- • Due to the presence of heat and the risk of burns during training, participants should not wear shorts or skirts; long and comfortable pants are preferred. Loose pants should also be avoided to prevent tripping and getting caught in kitchen equipment.
- • USLA reserves the right to make changes in classrooms for ongoing trainings.
- • USLA reserves the right to change content and dates up to 24 hours before events if deemed necessary.
- • USLA reserves the right to cancel the organization up to 24 hours in advance by refunding the event fee paid by participants if deemed necessary or if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
- • According to Article 48 of the Consumer Protection Law, the rights and obligations of the consumer and the seller and provider, the right of withdrawal, the obligation to inform, delivery, and other application procedures and principles are determined by the regulation. Under this article, it is clearly stated in paragraph g of Article 15 of the Distance Contracts Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 27.11.2014 that “Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, the consumer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal in the following contracts: Contracts for accommodation, goods transportation, car rental, food and beverage supply, and leisure time evaluation made for entertainment or relaxation purposes that must be performed on a specific date or period.” Therefore, refunds or changes cannot be made for the trainings “USLA First Step into the Kitchen Culinary”, “USLA First Step into the Kitchen Chocolate”, “USLA First Step into the Kitchen Sushi Sashimi”, and “USLA First Step into the Kitchen Pastry”.
